Diabetes is something that is widely common and is something that most people keep to themselves. Therefore this features story will give stories AND general information on people with diabetes.

However, Sophomore Andrew Freedmen said “i dont think [turnitin.com] will really effect me at all, i dont think any of my teachers are making me use it this year and even if they are it doesn’t make much of an impact on my life because i dont plagiarize.” There is no official date to start the use of turnitin.com because there is problem for some teachers to log in, otherwise students should already started to use the site.

There are many ways to avoid plagiarism , and what most people dont know is that it is a serious crime and students could be charged. “ I can avoid plagiarism by putting things in my own words and trying to use internet sources as my last options and use textbooks and worksheets more.” said Freshman Daniela Groz. 

Thus, Plagerisim is a serious crime and can result in serious consequnes. Luckily, most teachers will grade student on how badly the assignment was plagiarized. “if it says that it was copied from a source, then it identifies the original source. sometimes they are honest mistakes but once they have been taught the proper way to do it, hopefully they all can do it the right way and not have any problems” said Pauline Lakanen.Thus,  Students at Miami Beach Senior High can now look forward to a new and easy way to avoid plagiarism thanks to turnitin.com.

Thus, Freshmen Sophia Gibaldi described the website as “a really smart idea but i don’t think it is totally accurate because sometimes people have similar things, when there really not plagiarizing so its not really fair.” However, Sophmore Andrew Freedmen had a differnt thought of the use of turnitin.com and stated “i suppose its to reduce use of paper and go more digital”.
